Gespeg’s Micmac interpretation site

Historical

Gespeg in the Micmac language means « the end of land ». It is here that the Micmac Indians chose as home in the 17th century. Today, the Micmac guides and monitors lead you to relive the traditions and ways of life of these first inhabitants.

You will dive into 1675 where you will vibrate to Mother Nature’s rhythm. You will learn how clothes, food, tools and the daily necessities take shape, inspired by the ingenuity and the availability of the environing natural resources.
